Brexit

The formation of the European Union had its origins after 1945, in the desire to tie Europe's nations so closely together that they could never again wreak such damage on each other, this was after the world war and the cold war.

Britain saw France and Germany posting a strong post-war recovery and forming a powerful alliance and changed its mind. It applied to join (formed an alliance 2Chr 20) the EEC (European Economic Community) in 1961, which metamorphosed of Britain been part of European Union in 1973

The 28 member countries agree to open their borders (invasion of strange gods) to other EU members, share a common market, and abide by various social (allows difference policies which compromised the foundation and the establishment of the biblical truth of the nation) and political policies. Netherlands member of EU was the first nation to legalise and consummate gay marriage in 2001.

The three main issues of Brexit are: economics, immigration, and identity.

Jer 30:3 For the time is coming when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, and I will bring them home to this land that I gave to their fathers; they shall possess it and live here again. - TLB

3 Do this because the days will come”—this message is from the Lord—“when I will bring my people, Israel and Judah, back from exile.” This message is from the Lord. “I will put the people back in the land that I gave to their ancestors. Then my people will own that land again.” – ERV

3 For, note well, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will release from captivity My people Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they will possess it. – APMC

Prayers:

·      Lord, thank you for the journey so far

·      Lord thank you that you will restore the fortune of Britain and turn everything around for her

·      Lord thank you for redeeming Britain from her captivity

Gen 13: 1-9, 14-15 “The Lord said to Abram after Lot had left him, Lift up now your eyes and look from the place where you are, northward and southward and eastward and westward; 15 For all the land which you see I will give to you and to your posterity forever.”

·      Father as the journey to post-Brexit begins, make it easy for this land;

·      Father no doubt there shall be hurdles, constraints, difficulties, challenges, hard times, Lord please intervene;

·      Please do not allow us to complain, murmur on all the difficulties, but open our eyes to see and rejoice for it is for the freedom and liberation of the land;

·      Lord, make this journey a full restoration to your original plan for UK;

·      We don’t know what the future holds but we pray for divine ideals and strategies for our leaders to journey through;

·      Help them to listen and to obey;

·      As you did for Abraham, please Lord, establish your covenant and promises.
